A one-to-one session on handling, washing, drying and storing your own wig, topper or hair system—practised with the piece and products you actually use.
HOME CARE SESSION
The daily craft of wearing hair well.
WHAT YOU WILL PRACTISE
Care made specific, not generic.
Handling & detangling
Where to hold the piece, how to reduce tension at lace and attachment points, and how to work through tangles without unnecessary shedding.
Washing & drying
A sequence suited to the fibre and construction, including water temperature, product placement, rinsing, drying and styling limits.
Storage & routine
How to store the piece between wears, organise products and recognise when home care should stop and professional help should begin.
BRING YOUR OWN ROUTINE
Learn with what is already in your hands.
Human hair
Condition, heat, colour history and movement affect the safe routine. Human hair does not make the base or attachment indestructible.
Synthetic fibre
Product and heat limits depend on the exact fibre. Follow the maker’s care instructions unless Sarah has identified a more specific route for the piece.
Integrated or attached pieces
Home care must account for biological hair, scalp, attachment and added hair together. If the scalp becomes sore or inflamed, pause and seek appropriate clinical advice.
WHERE THE SESSION HAPPENS

Matlock atelier
A one-to-one appointment with the working surface, light and tools needed to demonstrate the routine. Visits are by appointment only.
Home visit
A visit may be possible depending on location, accessibility and availability. Travel arrangements and the quotation are confirmed before booking.
