A ready-made wig begins with an existing design and size, then relies on careful selection, fitting and personalisation to make it feel considered rather than generic.
READY-MADE WIGS
Finished pieces, personalised on you.
THE RIGHT STARTING PIECE
Selection is part of the craft.
Cap & base
Size, shape, weight, lining, hairline and parting construction are compared against comfort, coverage and how the piece will be worn.
Human or synthetic
The choice affects movement, styling freedom, care, longevity and cost. Neither fibre is automatically right for every person or every day.
Colour & density
The starting colour, root, variation, density and silhouette matter before any cutting or finishing begins.
PERSONALISED IN THE ATELIER
Small decisions change the whole reading.
Personalisation at fitting is £45. It covers the agreed colour refinement, cutting and restyling that can safely be completed on the selected piece; structural alterations or repair are quoted separately.
Fit
Where the construction permits, tabs, circumference, lining, clips or other suitable details may be adjusted for a more stable and comfortable fit.
Cut & shape
Fringe, perimeter, layers, weight and movement can be refined on the wearer rather than treated as a fixed catalogue style.
Colour & finish
Root, tone or surface colour may be considered where the fibre and previous processing allow. Synthetic pieces have different limits from human hair.
WHO THIS ROUTE MAY SUIT
When timing, simplicity or budget matters.
A good available match
If a suitable cap, colour and density already exist, personalisation may achieve the desired result without a full bespoke commission.
A changing need
During treatment, regrowth or another period of change, a ready-made piece may offer a proportionate route while needs are still evolving.
More than one piece
Some clients prefer different fibres or styles for work, home, exercise or occasions. The care and fit requirements of each should be understood separately.
THE PROCESS
Compare, personalise, understand the care.
1. Consultation
Sarah narrows the relevant construction, fibre, size, colour and density against your priorities and budget.
2. Selection & quotation
Availability, proposed personalisation, total price and estimated timing are confirmed before the piece or work is ordered.
3. Fitting & handover
The piece is fitted and finished as agreed. Handling, washing, drying, storage and styling limits are explained for that exact piece.
