Base & parting
Size, shape, lace, mono, silk or hybrid construction are considered against coverage, parting position, comfort and access for care.
Density, colour & cut
Added hair is matched and blended with the surrounding hair in natural light. The biological hair may also need an agreed cut or colour plan for the two to read together.
Attachment
Clips, integration or another suitable method may be discussed. The correct choice depends on the piece, remaining hair, scalp, intended wear and maintenance commitment.

Sarah considers the cosmetic brief, remaining hair, scalp comfort, routine and budget. Clinical concerns are referred back to an appropriate professional.
2. Recommendation
The proposed piece, attachment, preparation, maintenance, quotation and estimated schedule are explained before you commit.
3. Fitting & blend
The system is fitted, then the added and biological hair are cut, coloured or styled together only as agreed.
4. Maintenance
Fit, attachment, scalp access, colour and blend are reviewed at intervals appropriate to the system and the way it is worn.
LIVING WITH THE SYSTEM
The maintenance plan is part of the decision.
At home
You need a clear routine for washing, drying, detangling, styling, sleeping and recognising when the attachment or base needs professional attention.
At the atelier
Maintenance may include removal or release where relevant, cleaning, attachment work, fit checks, colour review and re-blending. The exact scope depends on the system.
As hair changes
Loss, growth, breakage or a change in scalp condition can alter suitability and fit. Cosmetic adjustments do not replace clinical advice about the cause of change.

Before choosing integration.
Is an integrated system a treatment for hair loss?
No. It is a cosmetic hair-replacement option. Diagnosis, medication, scalp symptoms and regrowth advice belong with an appropriate healthcare professional.
Will it damage my remaining hair?
Any attachment can create risk if it is unsuitable, too tight, poorly maintained or left in place when the hair or scalp changes. The method and review plan should be chosen carefully.
Can I wash, sleep or exercise in it?
That depends on whether the piece is removable or longer-wear, the attachment and the agreed care routine. Sarah will explain the limits of the proposed system before fitting.
How often will I need maintenance?
There is no universal interval. Biological hair growth, attachment, skin and scalp needs, activity, products and the construction all affect the schedule.
What will ongoing maintenance cost?
The initial recommendation should include the expected maintenance tasks and current charges so you can consider ongoing cost before committing.
What if my scalp becomes sore or inflamed?
Stop or reduce wear as safely as the attachment allows, contact the atelier, and seek clinical advice for the scalp symptom. Urgent or severe symptoms should not wait for a cosmetic appointment.
